Who else thought the Namesake was pretty good?!
Question: Actually being Indian, there was a lot of pressure on me to like this film. Personally, I thought it could've been a lot more dramatic if you know what I mean, it's kinda hard to explain. I guess what I mean is that near the end, I would have liked to have heard some good background music when they were trying to explain the whole overcoat thing and I thought that there were too many big changes when the movie was nearing to an end. Idk its hard for me to explain it while typing it. Besides that I thought it was ok. The acting from Kal Penn surprised me and I thought the others weren't bad too. But then again it was based off a book so what do you expect, really.

I couldn't get into it, personally, but I thought it had the potential to be a very good film.
