Are you sure it was a movie? It could have been this hour-long episode based on the folktale of a couple who wish for a child The woman finally says that, even if it is a hedgehog, she would love it. Thus, as these tales go, they have a child who looks very much like one of these creatures, and he is referred to as the Grovelhog. His enchantment can't be broken until he goes through one of those fabled marriages in which she has to trust him, no matter what he says or does.
