duing an excorsist the evil demon takes over the body. Sometimes they want to get a message across to the people of the world. Most of the time the person that is possessed is someone of major religious faith and very active and for some reason always happens to catholics according to things i've read. They want to make the religious person turn from god b/c most of the time when someone is going thru a ruff time they look to god and say why are you doing this to me. So in theory if you are being possessed and about to die the evil thinks that you'll completely turn from god. It could also be a test. I don't believe in it necissarily but it makes for good movies.

I beleive... sicne they are eveil.. they want to CAUSE evil and creat havoc... not sure. Maybe look into a more religous aspect?

ET was a great Movie, In many of the Cinemas they challenged the public to watch the Movie alone in a cinema hall and would be awarded if complete the entire Movie.
It was a grand success movie.

because evils dont have any power. They cant do anything without getting in anyone's body. They fullfill their desire by getting in any body.
