live free or die hard was a lot of action not much story, I consider Lord of the Rings Action all 3 of them.

Resident evil: apocalypse is action from start to finish. If your a fan of the gaming series all three movies are great....for kung fu type action movies try anything with Tony Ja in it. Ogbak (might not be the right spelling) if the greatest kung fu movie I have ever seen. The fighting is crazy, also if you have never seen it Drunken Master with Jackie Chan is awesome too.
Definitely the Bourne Movies....and I recently saw Children of Men which has a lot of action!

If you like the visual affects of action movies than I would STRONGLY suggest 'Live Free or Die Hard'.
If you like fight scenes, then I would STRONGLY suggest 'Kill Bill Vol. 1' (Vol. 2 is decent, but unfolds more story).
'Transformers' is also one of my personal favorites (for the kid in me). .
Bourne movies, Die hard movies, Lethal Weapon movies, and best of all Braveheart.
