Princess Mononoke is my all time favorite, but there is also Spirited Away, The Cat Returns, My Neighbor Totoro, Howl's Moving Castle, and Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind. Look up Hayao Miyazaki - he is a brilliant anime director http://imdb.com/name/nm0594503/
almost anything from studio ghibli like totoro, spirited away, kiki's delivery service, castle in the sky, and grave of the fireflies.
