Cloverfield Question???!


Question: is the movie cloverfield a bad movie becuse when i saw the trailer the whole part the camera was like shaking and shaking so is it a bad movie????

it just adds to the feel of the movie. supposedly the whole thing is caught on tape, so a steady camera wouldn't really do any good for the whole feel of how the movie is supposed to be. it's a really good movie, but they never show the monster.
Sorry to have to point this out, but you do actually see the monster, several times... infact, you get quite a few clear shots of the monster. At the end, you get a very clear shot. Report It

    • The camera was shaking because it's all filmed from the persective of an actual person with a camcorder...It should be good, but if not, it won't be for that reason.
    They're making the movie as if it's all recorded from people's real life cam corders. Like the Blair Witch Project, but for some reason, people think Cloverfeild is doing something new (based on a comment I heard on the radio, saying that they are being innovative with the camera idea).
    its used for you can kind of have the feel that it really happened somewhere and were just watching what the survivor had caught?
    It's a unique perspective, it makes you feel like you're a part of the action, it makes it look real. the camera shakes when they run to add the realism. Excellent movie!
    i havent seen the movie and obviously the first 4 or 5 people havent either. so their povs arent valid. i think its going to add a realistic perspective. not like blair witch project! you cant compare the 2! just cause they got that "handycam" feel to them. one had a budget of 10k cloverfields budget is like 35 mil...
