Answers: I will never watch the new 1 due to my long running faith in the original ! Noone beats Mr 'you were only suppose to blow the ruddy doors off!!!' Caine

old one: "hang on lad's, I've got an idea"

The new one is one the TV at the moment and I'm ignoring it. I'm sick of Americans hijacking British films, concepts, history.

The Orig but I never did like the ending.

Michael Caine's original. No contest

idk wat u r talking about but classics are always better

i love the remake!

the remake i haven't seen the original

I have to say I find the original unbeatable!

watch the new one, its awesome, charlize supposedly did a lot of her own driving in the film , great special effects, and car chase scenes are amazing

The Original, it was a masterpiece.

the original mr pritcher ...honest
i love the song 'it's the self preservation society'.

the old one it's a classic. i have never watched the remake and i have no intention of doing so.

the new one is fantastic for different reasons.... you could say the same about the Oceans 11......

REMAKE! without a doubt! and it is on tonight! woooooooooooooooooooooooooooooop

the new one is different. watch it, its OK. trust me, you will enjoy it. I do prefer the original because it's pure classic, but I did enjoy the new one too

much prefer the original one - the remake was'nt much good

I loved them both they are great movies
They are alike but the new one is more international
and self planned

I would suggest seeing the new one it is well written and made

I would almost have to say that I like the new one better
once you see it It is hard to believe that the First was G and the new was PG-13 hardly a 13 movie the older should be PG at least epically the beginning when he got "it" 3 times
in the new one Charley is more of a nice guy

The original, without a doubt.

Michael Caine is the dogs doo-dahs in it :)

original...different class!! benny hill a national treasure

original one

Classic.

You can't best the best.

xx

I always go wi' the original. I think that folk who huvvnae seen the original wid be able tae choose either one. I also feel a wee bitty sorry fur the poor souls who huvvnae hud the chance tae see the first shot at a guid film.. Maybe I'm auld fashioned, but I prefer the hard work that huz gone intae the "Maiden" film..

The original - when was it made now - 1969, I believe. It was very 'swinging sixties' - and of course all the cracking bursts from Michael Caine. I only got to watch it a few years ago after learning that one of the best jazz artists of the time, Quincy Jones (who worked on Michael Jackson's albums of the late seventies-early eighties) played the tunes.

The original was typical british quality with no smoothed edges!
The remake just looks like any other star spangled banner american feel good film!
Its a shame really because the US can make the best films but their stories are too predictable to be different!
Thats if they haven't nicked them of someone else!

the classic every time
