Question: I guess it must of been Dr. Gordon from the first film, it would explain the thing on his foot, but tat certainly wasn't Carry Elwes. Any thoughts on the matter?
And yes, I understand that the events of 3 and 4 overlap, and I know that the beginning of the movie was really the end, but im still a bit hazy on the details.

the guy being hung was mathews. he never died. he only cut off his foot and attacked amanda. but she punched him out and then that cop guy (who was secretly helping jigsaw) fixed up his foot and locked him up till they used him 4 that black cop's puzzle. doctor gordon died in the second or third movie.
