I can tell you something about Final Fantasy. What you were refering to was FF ( final fantasy) series 7 from the so far 13 series, and so far many has said 7 was the greatest. Final fantasy was not a movie to begin with. Actually they are a famous Role playing video game series made from Square soft, now Square enix. The movie had nothing to do with the game except made it into a super short version of the game but based two years after the storyline of the actual game itself. Just remember that the final fantasy you are looking for is series "7" or "VII". because all the other series are different stories not relating to any other of the series..
What you would want to do is play the original FINAL FANTASY VII GAME ON THE PLAYSTATION CONSOLE. IF it is your first time playing it, I suggest you do, im sure you will enjoy most of it. And if you just want to know the story, i suggest you use a cheat or if not just wiki it to get the full sypnosis on the game. All I GOT TO SAY IS, THEY COULDVE MADE A GOOD MOVIE BY ACTUALLY MAKING A MOVIE OF THE WHOLE GAME!!.
