Which Australian movies are absolute musts to watch?!

Question: I've been noticing that there have been some really good movies coming out of Australia for quite some time now.
Unfortunately, my own collection is pretty skimpy with only Gettin' Square and Priscilla, Queen Of The Desert (don't get me wrong - great, both of them, but just two).
Can you recommend some more?
I'd love to get a good collection of Aussie classics.
Thanks.

I'm sure I'm forgetting some that definitely should be on the list. Perhaps others will remember them. I've been lucky that the movie channels frequently run Aussie films, which I fell in love with in the Seventies when HBO started up. I tried to list a full range, from action/adventure to historical drama, from horror to the offbeat.

Mad Max
Muriel's Wedding

Rabbit-Proof Fence is an amazing Australian movie.
Once Were Warriors was also quite good.

Rabbit Proof Fence was superb.

The Man from Snowy River is also a classic.

Don't Forget about Crocodile Dundee!

Reckless Kelly
My Big Fat Greek Wedding
Romperstomper
Strictly Ballroom
Gallipoli
Murielle's wedding
The Man from Snowy River
Picnic at Hanging Rock
Kenny (a mockumentary but very well done)

There is a list of a few aussie movies worth seeing/collecting

Yahoo Serious

I can think of only one: Mad Max. I don't know if I can call Priscilla, Queen of the Desert a "must watch", maybe because it hits so close to home. Hee Hee. I saw Mad Max the first time in Russian. I the Russian dubbing left much to be desired; it is much better in English.

The Castle, very funny, Kokoda, war action, Bra Boys aussie gangsta, all good aussie films, last two Kokoda and Bra boys are more or less true storys

I would say only "the castle" but it still isn’t compulsorily viewing

O and lulu "Once Were Warriors" in New Zealand

WOGBOY!!!!!

Priscilla Queen of the Desert
(transvestites dancing to ABBA music and crossing the outback in an old coach - and meeting strange people.

Muriel's Wedding,
again a lot of ABBA music, but the important story is about a girl growing up.

Enjoy yourself.

none all australian movies suck.
