Can my 6, 8, and 11 year old see I am legend or is it inappropriate for kids?!

Question: I would say no to the 6 and 8 year old. 11 is on the fence. There are no sexually explicit scenes, and not much profanity. But there is a lot of gore and violence.

It's rated 15 for a reason...because it is inappropriate for kids.

i honestly didnt think it was THAT scary but one of my friends (14 y/o guy) had nightmares..... i prolly wouldnt let the 6 and 8 y/os watch it but maybe the 11 y/o.....

Now ways, I wouldnt let mine

um, depends on ur tolerance for violence, cursing, etc.

i mean, the monsters in the movie may be a little scary for the littlest one, but other than that and some cursing and a guy going a little mental, there is no sexuality, and the little boy lives. i would be careful about the dog thing though. it gets sad. u hav to explain afterward that it is just a movie.

i think that they will be fine. :)

The violance may be a bit intense

There is a rating system for a reason. There is no reason to even be CONSIDERING 6 or 8 year olds! You think little ones cussing is adorable? You'll find it a lot less cute when they'er doing it every other word in 10 years.

Keep them home, plug in something from Pixar, and have a family night. If you must see it, do the right thing and get a babysitter

Too scary for the 6 and 8 year old for sure but if your 11 year old is fond and likes scary movies maybe but if he is not it will be too scary.

Actually there was "not" that much violence except there were a few pretty intense moments. VERY intense. most of the movie was like the movie "cast away"
