In Bourne Ultimatum, what's the point of Bourne telling Vosen that 'I am!

Question: This is not spoiler, as it was showed in every teaser trailer.
I know he needed his voice to voice-activate to unlock the safe. But there was no need to tell him that he was there! He got almost killed after this, because he told where he was, and there was NO POINT. Once he got a top secret document, he could've done anything.

that movie's underlying message was about getting even with people who wanted him dead.... and REVENGE because they were responsible for his wife's death. THEY want to kill him so he will give up being so determined to bring them down and get at the truth: and HE wants to make sure they don't kill him, and that he GETS at the truth. He feels they owe him the truth about who he was, why they turned him into a killing machine, and why wouldn't they just leave him alone in India. He wasn't hurting anyone there... soooo. He wanted them [in new york] TO leave him alone. The remark about being in the office showed he was way more clever, and ahead of them in planning to catch and kill him. There was no literal POINT to him saying it -- it was just a part of dialog to give the movie goer a thrill. I certainly liked it! It made me want to see the 3rd move.

He's taunting him. Proving to him he's the better man.

The point was to have a good tag line for the trailer, even if it really wasn't pertinent to the flow of the story in the film. It worked in the second Bourne film's trailer with Joan Allen, and the studio was hoping lightning would strike twice with another zinger to catch the audience.

Bourne wanted to let Vosen know that he was in his office.

also it help to heighten the suspence , if he hadnt told him he was in his office there wouldnt be the same kind of urgency in making his next move , the music was great in that movie

the point was that vosen said that he was in his office when he was on the phone with jason when he wasnt. jasons line, "?f you were in your office, we'd be having this conversation face to face" was jasons way of proving him a liar and at the same time letting them know that he's right there in front of them, yet they cant catch him. he did sorta the same thing in the 2nd one when he had the sniper rifle across the street and called them on the phone
