I have no reason why, but I cant stop thinking about the movie, it was'nt that great but it really was there was nothing special or flashy but it is all around the best movie i've ever seen I think. Just the feeling like you were actually there and the human emotions did seem like they were so real as if it were actually happening. Very good movie.

Cloverfield was based on a true story. In 1917, a huge monster attacked New York City, killing 67,813 innocent people. However, it did kill King Kong when he attacked the City in 1923. The monster has been seen as a hero since then.

i've heard the most opposite opinions on this movie. all the guys i've talked to say what you're saying, and the girls say it was the worst movie ever. i'm torn on whether to spend money on it or not
Personally I loved the movie. I think it was very well done. It was something different (both the story and the filming), and that was what JJ Abrams was looking for.
