Good for you, Bella.....you were ahead of the curve on this one.....and artisticly, it makes a lot of sense.....there's too much in that novel to pack into one feature length movie.

She should have done that with every film, that would have given her double the income.

its because its the last one and the last time they are going to make money out of it. if they do it in two halves they get two lots of money for the last one

Naa.......my owl was a bit late this time...LOL:P

[P.S:-I dint mean to say tht u r my owl:)]

Thanks for the news...........:)

Excellent news - it's a long book and deserves better than to be chopped around to make a 21/2 hour movie!

Doesn't bother me either way. The movies seem to be getting progressively worse and I thought that the last one was a waste of time. I liked the books but the movies seem to be just cashing in rather than actually providing any real entertainment. I thought that the acting in the last one was diabolical, so I won't be watching the next one.

Yeah i heard about this - i think they should have made the last one and the next one as two parts also 'cos you can't help feeling that so much was left out (maybe not parts that were crucial to the film, but parts that made the books so good, funny and slightly 'realistic' - obviously minus the whole magic thing!).

Yes - I heard this was because the book is quite long and detailed and she did not want any of it missed out. This was the only way of making it and not lasting several hours.

Yea the movie will be very long if it were put together so i guess they split it into half.

Well i have mixed feelings for this, two halves means they will not leave not so much parts as they did in all the previous movies but two halves will not be as thriling as one full solid movie.

Two trips to the cinema instead of one .. fab ...

My kids love harry potter and i have to admit the films are too long for them to sit still in the cinema

awesome - theres more comin up!!!

Although their should be more in the movies, I think its a bad excuse for the movie industry, all they want is to make money and has nothing to do with the fans at all.
