Robert Downey Jr in "CHAPLIN" about Charlie Chaplin silent movie guy which will make you cry and laugh and screaming for the guy! It's amazing how many times I've seen that flick and it's becoming so I can recite the lines! Good luck!
Phantom of the Opera with Gerard Butler and Emmy Rossum was really really good. If you like the music and the musical then you will really like this movie. And Gerard Butler was soooo HOT (even in a mask and half deformed)

The note book was really great.
If you're looking for some older romance movies, why not "Ghost" with Demi Moore and Patrick Swayze or "Dirty Dancing"?
