I actually enjoyed it. I think I'm alone in this because everyone else seems to hate it. It's not a great film by any stretch of the imagination, but it was an enjoyable popcorn B-movie.

The shaking made my husband a little sick in a couple of places though.

havent seen it, dont want to, not into "end of the world" stuff

i thought it was a great movie. just because its different doesnt make it suck

It gave you a head ache because you have motion sickness. A lot of theatres had warnings, mines did anyway..

I really liked it, I dont know how you could say its pointless.. if anything, I wouldnt at all think that.

As for the red lungs thing, I think your just finding excuses to find things wrong with the monster.. whats so bad abotu the fact that it had that?

Well we all have our opinions. I really liked it, but then again, thats my favorite kind of movie. Realistic, with the reactions[i dont mind if its fake monsters] high tension, characters developed, fast moving, good script, action, etc..

I belive it was a great movie. Sure it started off slowly, but when it picked up, it got really good. I belive movies like this are a great art form, and a rare one at that.

Even though I admit the camera style was tough to watch at times, I still think it added to the movie as a whole. I also agree that the movie doesn't give you a lot of info about the monster/where it came from/why, etc., I actually didn't mind as the movie was then about the people and not about the monster or whatever was being done to stop it. I liked it, but I guess it's not for everybody...

man screw u it was great and unique. I felt like I was there and I was excited the whole time

I enjoyed this movie very much. I think that Abrams idea of making our own Godzillia type monster movie was great. The camera work was at times jumpy but I didn't have any problems and I didn't notice anyone in the theater with any problems either. The Alien was very cool and very nasty. I am looking forward to the second part, it is gonna be told either from someone else who was filming it during the night attack or from where it left off. If you hear at the very end of the movie during the credits you hear "It's still alive"
