"To watch "The Grudge 2" should one need to watch 'the Grudge!
Question: I mean does it continue from the first movie or is it like "the Butterfly Effect(1&2)" or "Final Destination" (1,2&3)where the movie's basically the same but just with new actors?

2 is a little different than 1. If you don't watch the first one then you wont understand what is going on in the second. Not that the sequel was very good anyway.
The first Grudge just explains everything, and lets you know why what's happening... is happening. I guess you don't really -have- to watch them in order, but you might understand the second a little better with the first as a background
