Aliens -- the quintessential Space Marines movie.
Blade Runner -- simply brilliant, richly detailed, powerful story and storytelling.
Star Trek II: The Wrath Of Khan -- okay, this is only if one likes the Trek franchise; if so, this is the very best of them.
2001: A Space Odyssey -- in a class by itself. You either get it or you don't. Those who get it tend to be more interesting individuals.

it is still considered a milestone in moviemaking technology.
it was shot on a black back ground. Every light, set, special effect, was added by computer. At the time technicians couldnt see the things they were making for the film till it was on film since monitors coulnt handle them.
it has been considered for a remake and a sequel.

Blade Runner
Blade Runner -- if only for the production design. Every aspect was thought out, and an entire grimy, dirty, run-down LA of 2019 was created, with the elite living either off world or on top of skyscrapers, and the poor jostling for position in the crowded streets below. It's one of those films you can watch with the sound off and still enjoy.
BTW, per another person's comment about Tron: The colors were NOT computer generated, they were rotoscoped.
