Cloverfield was a good movie. I liked the fresh approach to a tired genre. The ones who didn't like it would prefer a monster movie that I've seen a thousand times before.
Original Godzilla would put the hurtin' on this creature.

well im 16 and i loved the movie! very original, something that most people don't appreciate these days. but yeah i think something did fall but i heard that it was a satellite, not the monster.

My friend and I are under the age of 21 and we both liked it! I think some viewers just wanted something that they've already seen a million times (it's called originality, people!!). I agree, it was a nice approach to the genre and felt unique because of the handheld camerawork. Unfortunately, a lot of people criticized the movie because it made them too dizzy (gee, THAT'S fair). Me? I'd call it six bucks well spent!
The ending was very satisfying, by the way.

I didnt hate the movie, but I didnt like it either. I say it was ok. and Im not under 21. Im 25.
Well i thought it was a good movie, original and stuff got me hooked on definatley. but i still cant stand the ending lol, i guess i just hate movies where everyone dies.. iwanted rob to live lol
