*Cloverfield SPOILER* Question about Rob and Beth at the end?!
Question: Did they die? I'm a little unclear as I've read questions about Rob's voice being heard after the credits? I didn't stick around till the credits were over so if anyone could explain what happened I'd be grateful.

Oh c'mon! They're dead. There were two blasts that buried them under the tunnel. Remember when the soldier said they were going to level the city? Well, that was it. Our characters were told that if they didn't leave by 6AM, they'd die in Brooklyn. They got close to leaving, but their helicopter went down and so did much chance of survivor.
I think the director and producers did as much as they could to let the audience know that our characters were dead without the characters actually saying "we're dead now"

Although there is a voice at the end that says "It's still alive", I'm pretty sure Rob and Beth die at the end.
There's no way to tell whose voice it was at the end. I would have to say they are dead, there isn't going to be a sequel.
during teh credits u hear a voice but the sound isnt clear so im not sure if it was rob. u can see teh credits for teh movie on youtube. theyres a voice that says "help us" and wen played backwards it says "its still alive"

Its a soldier talking over the radio i think, he says "Its still alive" the producer was talking about part two so i think thats coming
The general rule about movie death is that you need to see the corpses. We didn't see Rob and Beth's dead bodies, so there might be a chance they might be alive, albeit in pretty bad shape.
what I want to know is, I missed what fell into the water at the end during their Coney Island date.

I've heard that if there's a sequel, it may be the exact same attack from someone else's perspective. That might be interesting. And Rob and Beth, I think they're dead.
