I like a mix between comedy, horror, but mostly I like action movies.
I am a guy, so I watch guy movies when I am solo: drama, scary, comedy, action, no romance.
If with a female, then alternate between girly and manly ones.

As to the romance, I do mean romance not lust bed scenes.
Example: "Shadowlands" Victorys of love over matter.
I enjoy all of those movies, with the exception of scary. I don't like scary ones because they, well, scare me! When I watch a scary movie I can't sleep.
I like several types:
* action, action-comedy
* epic / fantasy / science fiction
* some comedy or drama
* some suspense "who-done-it"
* horror, but not bloody, gore, nor slash
Romance not much, but liked Ever After and 50 First Dates.
Oops, you forgot "Action" and "Adventure" and what about "Sci-Fi?"

Comedy, First and foremost,sometimes the sillier the better!
Drama -second! Suspense-third!
I'm probably going to be run out of town for this, but I am a die hard "chick flick" fan. I also like dramas and comedies, and some action movies that have a comedic spin.
