Heath Ledger or The Dark Knight?!

Question: Is it just me or does it seem like so many people on Y!A are more concerned about this movie being completed then the fact a 28 year old actor has died long before he should have?

Sad isn't it?That's the selfishness of society though.
Such a tragic waste of a young life...

Nope. You're right.

Nice, huh?

he was actually filming another movie and it wasnt completed yet

no kidding. but then again look in the celebrity section. lot's of questions about him there. i think alot of people will want to see his last role. after all, it will be remembered as his last film. people will naturally want to see it.

He had already completed filming on the Dark Knight so the question is moot.

For those so shallow to think a movie is greater than the potential of a great man - IMDB.com shows the Dark Knight as being in "post production". So Heaths work is in the can and just waiting for the Editors and CGI folks to finish their work.

Heath's untimely demise reminds me so much of what happened to River Phoenix also cut down in the prime of his his life so long ago. Heath seemed to be barely getting started on what could have been a multi oscar nominated career. I for one am glad we got to see just how good he was in just the short time we had with him on the big screen. The icing on the cake would be an Oscar nomination and win next year for Dark Knight to cap off his journey. (Even sweeter if Cate Blanchett gets to announce the award and Geoffrey Rush or Russell Crowe accept on his behalf).

Rest in Peace Heathcliffe.
