Why are there so many weenies who think watching movies online is so immoral?!
Question: these companies make literally billions of dollars out of us each and every year for providing what?? generally below par lack-luster mass produced rubbish. now personally i dont see the issue with checking a movie out online then if.... and i mean if it is any good goig and spending my ￡8 + about ￡10 for snacks to go see it whats your opinion c'mon peps let me know

I don't think it's a big deal to watch them online. I think people confuse WATCHING movies online and DOWNLOADING them online. If you're at a website and you're watching a movie without doing anything but a few clicks of your computer mouse, what can be so bad? It's not like you're going to be in trouble for visiting a website that someone else created. When did curiousity become a crime? People just need to mind their own business. If you're appalled by people watching movies online and if it somehow makes you feel like you're a better person because you went and saw it, so be it. Leave us who have no time or patience to be in a crowded movie theater full of jerks, that leave their cellphones on and bring their screaming babies, or having to deal with obnoxious teenagers talking throughout the movie alone! And to be honest, maybe if there were good movies out there instead of rehashed remakes and weak stupid movies maybe we'd be willing to go out and see them in theaters. Now, if I see a movie online that I like, I'll go to the movies and I'll pay to see it just for the big screen experience because I liked it so much from watching it at home. I like to know the value of what I'm getting. SUE ME!
Those are the people who actually respect intellectual and private property.
You and millions of other people watching movies illeagaly is what makes them lose money. It isn't just a few people that do it so they lose tons of money that they deserve. You have to look at the big picture
I personally love going to the movies and once in a while I'll buy food and drinks, but mostly I'll eat something beforehand or smuggle snacks in my pockets. There's something to be said about watching movies on the big screen, the computer screen just doesn't compare. I can understand watching movies online if money is tight and you really want to see a movie, but really, if you go to a matinee it's usually cheaper. Watching movies for free can be cool but in the end the people who are willing to pay are the ones losing out, because we pay for all the lost dollars at the box office.
If everyone were to watch movies online, those companies wouldn't be making billions, would they. It's called stealing when you watch movies illegally. Sorry. No other word for it.
Well, scratch that. If you're watching movies that are currently in theaters online, I consider that the same as buying bootlegged tapes.... except.... you're not buying anything. So that's worse. If you're watching an older movie on Youtube, well, go for it.
