The exorcism of emily rose that was scary i didnt see the whole movie but that was enough for me, my mom watched the whole thing she said it was VERY scary!!!!! I only watched half but the next 3 nights i couldnt go to sleep and kept waking up around 3am if you watch the movie you will know what i mean

Honestly, The Sixth Sense scared the hell out of me.
Plus, I saw a Thai horror movie called "Shutter". In surround sound, I thought the girl in that movie was coming up behind me the entire time.

when i was young i got that old movie called pet sematary or part 2. Or try IT the clown that one is also old. Sorry but i feel that old scary movies are scarier.

my girlfwends and i were watching it one night and one of our bf's had set the alarm clock to ring... it just so happened to ring while someone was being killed! scared one of us enough to piss in her panties! LOL
The new Halloween was great but if you have seen the old one you know what happens. Oh yeah don't forget Silent Hill especially if you haven't played the games.oh and for old times sake "IT" is a good one as well as "The Hitcher"

Ghost Ship 2002 (Death Ship was the original Movie made in 1980 which I saw when I was about 16 or 17 and we thought it was sooo scary. I rented it out years later after raving about it to friends, and was quite embarrassed to find it quite lame compared to scary movies showing in the last couple of years). The remake Ghost Ship borders on .....URG. I would call it more Horror than scary. It has some pretty disgusting bits in it. Just a warning not for the faint hearted.
All the Resident Evil movies are pretty good, and don't forget the Alien movies - the first one is definitely the best. Pretty Freaky.
Oh there was a movie called Wolf Creek which I couldn't even watch all of it. Its an Australian movie - it was a little to real for my liking.
