I don't think that Mark (Jason Bateman) wanted to be with Juno in a sexual way, but, that he loved how she made him feel young and carefree with the guitars, punk/alternative music and horror movies. I thought it was amusing how he kept pushing the Sonic Youth albums at Juno, because, that was the kind of music I listened to at the same age.
On the whole, Juno was way too in to Pauly to even consider having a thing with Mark. I did like how Bren warned her about crossing boundaries with married men. I don't think that many mothers would bring that up with their daughters.
He subconsciously did, even though he would not admit it, because that would be pedophilia.
It would be because she was just 16. I totally agree with both answers and think you should reward the 10 points to the 2nd answer. That was well thought out and would have been how I answered had I saw the question first.
