Sandler told the little boy the "Microsoft went down six points" as a joke meaning that the Microsoft stock went down six points on the New York Stock Exchange, implying that if Sandler had stock in the company then he would be in jeopardy of losing his monetary investment that he had put into buying the stock, therefore he would be out of money. So they are denting food cans in the grocery store in order to get them at a discounted rate. Some supermarkets offer lower prices for significantly damaged food.
The Hooters girl is commenting on how Sandler has taught the little boy to cheat the supermarket out of money b/c there are illegally denting the cans in order to get them discounted.
i think he owned stock in microsoft and since it went down he needed to save money......and so the damaged cans means they will knock off some of the price......
