I Walked With a Zombie
The Wicker Man (original and remake)
Jurassic Park 1-3~~Of course, the second one isn't completely on the island.
Dinosaurus!
Island of the Burning Doomed aka Island of the Burning Damned~might be more sci fi than horror
Isle of the Snake People aka Snake People
Frogs
The Ring~part of it
Pinata: Survival Island aka Demon Island~When it's shown on AMC, it's by the first title.
April Fool's Day
Island of Terror~This one crops up as a movie mystery on Y!A quite often.
Primal Force~I've been placing this on a number of suggestion lists. It's a Sci Fi Channel offering that really surprised me.
The Flesh Eaters~I saw this recently but only the edited version.
Shock Waves~Did the walking underwater scene influence the one in the first "POTC" film? I know that I was strongly reminded of it.
Red Rover aka The Secret Inside
It's Alive III: Island of the Alive
Attack of the Crab Monsters~I have a videotape of it now and of the next one!

Satan's Little Helper
Storm of the Century (TV miniseries)
Mysterious Island (original and TV miniseries)~sci fi/horror
King Kong films start on an island, and "Son of Kong" isn't really very horrific, but it's enjoyable.

I didn't include Manhattan, focusing on places much more isolated. So many of these I saw at the drive-in as double- and even triple-bills! Others were used to fill up early T V programming when there were scarcely any series. I've been very lucky to see hundreds of obscure films multiple times.

Hmm - there's a really Good one if you
like the oldies - It's scary and although
black and white, it was a re-make of
an Agatha Christie novel (mystery writer)

"And Then There Were None"...also released as
"Ten Little Indians"....

"The Island of Doomed Men (1940)
"House of the Dead" (2003) - shame on whoever made this one!!!
"The Twilight People" (1973) - a 'Dr. Moreau' wannabee, and a title from actress Pam Grier's humble beginnings
"Island of Terror" (1966)
"Son of Godzilla" (1967) - the scene where big ol' G 'teaches' his son to breath radioactive fire, is priceless!!!

"The Breed (2006) - the supposed remake of "Killer Shrews", presented by Wes Craven

"King of the Lost World" (2006) - a blatantly obvious "King Kong" ripoff
"Violent S**t 3: Infantry of Doom" (1999) - they threw everything into this one, INCLUDING the kitchen sink!!! Zombies!! Ninjas!! Mad Doctors!! A Steel-masked Psychotic Killer Army!! You Name It!!
"Attack of the Crab Monsters" (1957) - a case of the crabs...that talk!!!

"Hell of the Living Dead" (1980) - love that padded National Geographic stock footage!!!
"Island of the Living Dead" - a sequel to 1980's "Hell of...", I cannot believe that knock-off EuroFilm director Bruno Mattei, aka Vincent Dawn, has sequelized his own bad movie!!!
"The Wind" (1987) - ...being an aspiring writer, this film, about a terrorized writer on a Greek island, is particularly appealling (...not to mention, I absolutely LOVE Meg Foster)!!!

"The Fog" (1980) - the original....The Best!!!
"The Food of the Gods" (1976) - directed by Mr. BIG, himself, director Burt I. Gordon ("Amazing Colossal Man", "Attack of the Puppet People", etc)
"April Fool's Day" (1986) - this one pissed me off....all the deaths were staged jokes, in the end!!!
"Zombie Island Massacre" (1984) - shame on Troma, for this one!!!
"The Flesh Eaters" (1964) - one of the first real 'gore' films
"Humongous" (1982)
"After Death" (1988) - ...an obscure, and rarely seen zombie shocker...
"Frankenstein Island" (1981)
"The Mad Doctor of Blood Island" (1968) - the best of the Filipino 'Blood Island' horror film series (...the others, being "Beast of Blood" (1971), "Brides of Blood" (1968) and "Terror is a Man" (1959))

...and of course, the 1977 and 1996 versions of "The Island of Dr. Moreau"

...I'm sure that's there's more, but that's all I can come up with, spontaneously, without looking up a list (...though admittedly, I have periodically added to this list, as they have come to me)...

(edit)

...oh, and Emilio!!! Yeah, you!!!...Down below!!! The whole idea behind this, is to have fun, and be informative; who cares where and how the information is appropriated....by memory, or by research!!!!

I also was going to say the samething about King Kong films start on an island.

...funny thing, how some of these lists are just getting longer and longer, despite claims that these titles are coming off the cuff...supposedly by memory....Yeah, right!!!!

...in fact, two of them look like 'ding-dong school' tactics, whereby one seems to be copying from the other...
