One of my FAVORITE movies!!
It's not scary in the fact that its BOO! make ya jump scary? It's more like "omg, this could have really happened" scary. I won't spoil the movie for you, but it's one of those movies that makes you go 'hmmmmmmmmmmm' at the end, and then look over your shoulder really quickly!
P.S. Don't bother with popcorn, you'll be too engrossed in the movie to care! And pay close attention... theres lot's of subtle stuff in there that makes sense at the end.

it wasn't scary at all it was tupid you don't get to see the witch at all it's more about how the people are push to the edge of breaking down

It was pretty scary in a different kind of way. You'll have to watch it to judge for yourself.
I saw it in the theatre. Seeing it late at night on dvd may make it scarier.

not at all. it's become such a "horror movie classic" because of all the hype it got when it was released and, for a few days, everyone thought it was for real.
