Question: Young Indian people..Do you really like today's bollywood songs and movies or you actually like oldies?To me new bollywood movies and songs are garbage and nothing indian in it but waste of money and time.Some new songs are exceptions that I know.Your view about this?

One day, my bf was watching a movie and started watching i aswell, and the movie was a copy of a western movie but bollywood style. HE kept telling him I know what is going to happen next. I think it is said how bollywood today due not have a creative imagination to create their own movie script or very music tunes.
I like the older ones better. Then the ladies actually acted indian and represented their country well. These days it seems the music is a copy of western music. Only they speak hindi instead of english. They computer old hindi movies and make it to todays style. Om Shanti Om is better in the original version.
The movies that are coming out now, are not the type were families can not sit together and watch. The girls are half naked, Might as well not were anything. In the Indian culture, girls are told to cover up and how is the bollywood industry representing indian females. We are not sluts.

well...indan movies these days are really getting unnexceptable but some are reallly good like om shanti om..it depends the way u produced..it...these days its all like rape and dirty stuff..not famly movies..but ssome are nice...
All songs and occasions have their own time and and place according to the situation, Indian, English, Spanish etc.
I'm not Indian but I do watch the occasional Hindi movie. Yerr, it does seem that, these days, Bollywood is spewing out rubbish movies, innumberable, but rubbish. Not naming any names *cough*Cash*cough*.
However, I did watch Taare Zameen Par the other day and that was just...spectacular.

Not all, some of today's. Actually Bollywood exploiting people in third world countries giving same stories in different colour and extracting poor people's bread money. What can I say more?
