Its a great movie. If you collect movies there is nothing weird about buying a copy. I have in in my dvd collection.

Well it was rated R. But if you've watched other R-rated movies and not been upset, this one is much tamer than most. There is some violence, mostly in terms of fist fighting. There is a little bit of female upper nudity from both female leads, and there is some rough language. But it's really quite tame compared to most R-rated films.
It's also a very good movie. Compared to the violence porn like "Saw" and "John Rambo," it's art.
