The Martian Manhunter or Harvey Birdman... oh yeah they killed him off, so I guess just the Manhunter.
...well, being a 'frightfilmfan', as well as an ex-comic-book collector (...early '70's, to early '80's timeframe), I was always intrigued by the mysterious character of Morbius, the Living Vampire; I was most intrigued by the story behind the scientist, who in trying to cure a degenerative blood disease within his system, inadvertantly and artificially became a living vampire, with all the powers of the undead, but none of the weaknesses (...sort of like 'Blade', but with a brain, and a considerably warmer heart). Torn between an obsessive desire to live, so that he could cure others, and the self-destructive guilt of having killed, if only to satify his ever-arising and insatiable blood lust, Michael Morbius would occasionally (...and reluctantly) find himself doing battle with nefarious forces, even more obsessed, sinister and diabolical than he....sort of like a lessor evil, doing battle with greater evils.
...I think that this story would make for great and compelling viewing, on the sliver screen...
