Saw 4 Question for those who have seen it....?!

We start off with jigsaw's autopsy, detective finds the tape, game begins....detective turns out to be the accomplice or whatever. So the beginning of the movie, was actually the end? Like, the events of saw 4 were taking place at the same time as saw 3? That's what I thought at least. Still doesn't make sense. Someone else said that he had a twin brother, don't know if I buy that. What was in the letter to amanda? What are your thoughts? I was so confused and upset.

Yes, the beginning was the end, while the rest of the movie took place at the same time as Saw III. The accomplice has a game of his own to play, which will probably take place in Saw V.
