Shooter was entertaining - lots of action and very fast paced. Very typical action movie, but fun to watch.
Gangs of New York was slow at parts, but was very artfully done and has some good fight scenes.
The Departed was good, great dialogue, and an interesting plot.
I saw gangs of NY. I liked it. Did not see the other two.
I personally didn't care for "Gangs of New York"; the beginning 20 minutes was interesting, as was the final 20 minutes. The 2 hours and 20 minutes in between were disappointing.
"The Departed" was very good, but it does drag at times.
I've never seen "Shooter".
honestly...at first i dont want to watch it either... i dont know about gangs of new york..but the shooter and the departed are worth watching for.. take it from a girl who prefers romance movies..just watch it..

I watched the departed. The movie really impressed me. It is unique. The plot, story line is different from any other movies. But it depends on your personality. maybe these type of movies doesn't suit you.
The Departed was amazing, it was the movie that finally got Marty Score an Oscar....its got a awesome ending and it made me grasp!....Gangs was great too, just a bit too long , nonetheless it was all around good. Never seen the Shooter, but heard good things...enjoy

Apparently I'm alone in this, but I loved Gangs of New York. I own it and have watched it repeatedly. The Departed was amazing, but I wouldn't seek it out again. Never even heard of Shooter.
