Answers: What would you say to new sequels of the the 1985 hit movie Back to the Future?

I love the Back to the Future movies but to start making more sequels will just ruin it. Why does Hollywood always have to overdo things and wring every last breath out of a film, can't they come up with new ideas and stories.
And it's 1.21 gigawatts : )

"Marty"......"Doc"........22 gigawatts!!

I'd miss Michael J Fox not being in them and sadly his illness prevents him from doing acting .

Bad idea

Who would play Marti?

Michael J Fox is involved. I think he will be the Doc

I doubt that Michael J. Fox would be able to be in them and it just wouldn't be the same without him. I don't think I would watch one without the original cast.

WOW. I don't know how they could pull that one off but, I would really might watch them. I think it really can't be bad as the Rocky Balboa and Rambo comebacks.

Flux capacitors.. 22gigiwatts..Delorens!!
Only if done well in the spirit the first ones were done.

I know the are re-mastering 12&3 into 3D

as well as lord of the rings and star wars

Crap! They will be terrible, I assume that marty's son takes over the machine

They will have to film it at 88.8mph, then they could go back and make the sequels before the originals

Really? I'd be curious to get some more info on this. However, I just wish great movie franchises would learn when to quit. But I guess nobody can think of anything new so they have to revisit all of these older classics. I'm not sure how this would work. How can you have Back to the Future without Michael J Fox??? It's like a rumor I heard about new Terminator movies without Arnold. LOL! And if they did cast Michael J Fox, I imagine it would be tough for him to play a major role in a full length feature. So... while I"m intrigued (I loved the first three) I don't see how these would be very good.

i don't think that'd work. it's been too long since part 3. yes i know the star wars prequel trilogy worked but that's probably the exception to the rule.

and if they can find a working delorean that hasnt already been turned into a replica of the film one congrats so them

if theyre done well i'd be happy if not i'll put a brick through the window of anyone responsible for destroying a perfectly good film series

That new time machine would have to be a Lambo Mazarati! lol

i love back to the future i hope they don't make any more you can't replace Mikel j fox

Yeah that would be cool. I remember rumpurs before about a number 4 being made with Sarah Michelle Geller as the daughter of Marty Mcfly. Michael J Fox's illness wasn;t as bad then and he wasn't going to play Marty McFly but only a small part. The story was going to be more focussed on SMG 's role but in the end it all fell through. Anyway I believe there's still a lot if potential for the franchise and if they can replace Arnie in Terminator with Christian Bale in T4 then what's stopping them from also making a BTTF trilogy with some new characters.

Rumours are rumours and it would be nice to see another Back to the Future movie as it left it open at the end of Back to the Future Part 3. But one problem Michael J. Fox is ill and he will never recover from the illness he has got i'm sorry to say. Have you seen him in any movies or TV lately, the answer is no, the last time he did some acting was on the TV series Scrubs and you could see he was ill on that as he was playing a doctor with OCD, i.e. his illness makes him shack as it is a brain condition and there is no cure at the moment but one day there will be. But still it would be nice to see Fox in Part 4, we can all hope and pray.

there is a follow up but its a cartoon
and michael j fox cant do any more movies he just does cartoon voices

There is a rumour going about that if it does happen they will be following Doc Brown (Chris Lloyd) and Clara (Mary Steenburgen), and their children. But Bob Gale (screen writer) has said in numerous interviews that because of Michael J Fox's Parkinson's the plans for a fourth movie are now officially dead, as he wouldnt be interested unless fox was the star.
