Who thinks Sweeney Todd is just perfect?!
Question: The ending was...OH MY GOD!!! Just when you had total emotional investment on the characters (Sweeney Todd, Mrs Lovett), the ending leaves you in a big shock!!! I really liked that movie and Johnny Depp was just perfect (as he always is!). Tim Burton really did an amazing job and created another dark/gothic/romantic masterpiece!!! Oscar-worthy!!!

it was no where near being prefect
I enjoyed it quite a bit, but it was by far not perfect. I've always kind of thought of most Burton films as entertaining Goth schlock. Fun to watch and a little artsy but nothing genius or anything. Except maybe Big Fish. Nobody seems to think about that one and I thought it was astonishingly good.
