i LOVED it!!!! it was probably the best musical i ever saw! and this theater company near me is doing it so i get to go see it on stage!!! YAY!!!
Yes, but I like the 1982 version with Angela Lansbury better.
i thought it was good the only thing i didn't like in the movie was that for time and other reasons songs had to be cut out and shortened
Sweeney Todd was nothing like the actual musical. It was simply another dark movie. I can't say I cared for it much; but that could be because they editted out half the songs and editted whole chunks out of the songs they did use from the musical; which for me messed up the flow.
