Yes, I thought it was great, that hitman was very scary, I liked the way that any problem he faced, he just killed the person in his way - complete psycho!!!
Re: the gas cannister, you can certainly kill people with it, as it what you use to kill animals in a humane way - it's called a captive bolt, and it shoots a four inch bar into the brain of the animal (sheep, pig or cow - think it's a little over the top for a chicken) and then retracts, so it is desinged for the job.
Seeing as it can punch through the skull of a cow, I reckon it could cope with a cheap hotel lock!
it was awesome an i liked it. i imagine that device was designed for cows or other animals. similar devices with that piston action are usually used on cows heads for their meat. Yes, a device like that would be every bit capable.

Yes, what a great film. It must surely have one of the most menacing and evil characters of all time in it. What a performance.
The device is basically a stun gun used on cattle (as previously mentioned) and does do serious damage. Chilling hey?

it seems like one of those movies that'll be around for a while. i really want to see it but ill wait for it on video!
I saw it. The scariest part for me was realizing how easy it is to find people who are trying to disappear. I was disappointed in Woody Harrelson's character in this movie. He was good enough to track down the psycho but then instead of just shooting first, he had to talk to the guy and get himself shot.
i liked it, but i don't know if it was that good, like some critic's have been saying, and yes i do think it's possible for the compressed air gun to do, what we seen in the film, they're used in slaughter house's to kill livestock, so they are made to be efficent.
