You know if you wanted to do something a little different, the new movie "There Will Be Blood" is basically an analysis of a man and his pursuit of his version of the American dream. Actually talks about the land of opportunity and the what not in it.
Probably would be tough since you'd have to pirate it to watch it time and again, plus hard to take notes in a dark theater. However, it was brilliant.

American Gangster is probably one of the most inspirational movies of all time. Second up is The Pursuit of Happyness because one man made millions beliving in the American dream and thridly Scarface because that really happened Not him but people did come to America for exactly what he did!! Sorry for spelling errors

I'd go for Giant(1956), Its a Gift(1934), or The Crowd(1927). But the best is Modern Times(1936), Chaplin's classic.

It all depends on what you interpret as "The All American Dream." If you think that it means coming from nothing to having everything then I believe it would have to be Scarface.
