Has Keanu Reeves ever given a totally convincing performance?!

Question: You'll have to give me some pretty sound reasons if you think he has.

Answers: You'll have to give me some pretty sound reasons if you think he has.

No!!!

Mildly amusing in 'Parenthood'...that's it.

Can't believe the lucky git got to play opposite Sandra Bullock twice!!

he gave a totally convincing part of a moron in the bill and ted movies... i believed he was an idiot... didn't you??? hahah

Bill and Ted's excellent adventure lol

Yes -- see Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure. Don't you really think he's like that in real life?

I'd say he gave a pretty convincing performance as Ted "Theodore" Logan in Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure. In fact, he did such an amazing job in that movie that he's been playing the same character in every film since.

He played a plank of wood in one film, wasn't very good at it though.

any bill and ted movies.
i can honestly say i believed he was a total air head.

His most sincere performance was in the movie "My Own Private Idaho".

When you look like him it's not necessary to convince anyone.

tut f in tut you sad person. have you ever seen anything he has done? i think not as if you had you would not ask this silly sad question.

He gets the job done.

Parenthood and Bill and Ted. Moron in both.

Never....ever

Lawrence Fishborne carried him in the Matrix.....

He was really good in the Lake House with Sandra Bullock and I liked him in the Matrix triology..........My favorite is the Lake House...its a tear jerker.

No.

At the risk of getting hailed down. I actually thought he was good in Speed.
I enjoyed Point Break but I think it had more to do with Patrick Swayze.

I think he has..

My most favorite movie of his is and always will be "Speed"..loved watching him play a sexy police officer..who spend a whole afternoon on a bus headed for disaster.. What I wouldn't give to be saved by him..like Sandra Bullock. :)

I also liked him in "The Lakehouse"...love takes time i guess but once you find it, follow that crazy voice inside and find your "happiness"..even if others think you're crazy.

Only in Parenthood where he played a high school kid (or just out) who marries his girlfriend. It seemed natural for him.

No, he hasn't.

i think he gave a pretty stand up performance in the devils advocate? any scene he had with the living legend that is al pacino was quite good, but maybe that was al carrying him, i dunno..

no. i have more acting talent in my left **** cheek than he has in his whole body

I thought his performance in The Gift was convincing, when he played a fat husband who was mentaly & physically abusing his wife.
