Did anyone feel sick after they watched the movie Requiem for a Dream?!
Question: I just watched it and now i feel awful. I should have turned it off but i wanted to see how it ended. I feel particularly disturbed by the scenes with the girl Marien (Jennifer Connely)

yeah, harsh but true reality of drugs.......it didn't exaggerate.....I've done my share of rehab.
Oh yes. Hell ******* yes. I couldn't eat, drink, or sleep after the first time I watched that movie because I was so emotionally messed up, lol. EASILY one of the best movies ever made. It's like the movie takes you by the shoulders and slams you into a wall and shakes you.
And this is why Darren Aronofsky is my favourite director.

I felt like I had been hit by a bus for at least 3 days afterwards. Very disturbing. I agree, the scenes with Jennifer Connely towards the end were shocking. It made me want to start drinking again just so I didn't have to think about it!!! A remarkable film though.
