Go get Frailty. It's amazing. And my favorite movie. It won't be under new releases. But its definitely worth watching.

Charlie Wilson War -Great unknown true story (to most people, it was an unknown event) that precedes what is going on in Pakistan today. Tom Hanks is great in anything he does.
I watched both of those. They were great, but 3:10 to Yuma was much better. I suggest for your type The Invasion or if you like funy movies Superbad. I liked WAR with jet li. I also liked rush hour 3. I aslo wtched Daddy Day camp and am going to watch The Game Plan.

If you are into action movies with some language and violence, you should check out Green Street Hooligans with Ellijah Wood. I thought it was an excellent movie that kept my interest. Or if you want less action check out Stranger than Fiction with Will Farrell. I was a great comedy drama that left me guessing at how it would end (normally, they don't). Good Luck

Viggo Mortensen was fantastic in 'Eastern Promises'. However, I didn't like the movie as a whole.
If you have not seen 'The Party' (w Peter Sellers) yet rent it. It's extremely funny.

You sound like you like action movies so I would suggest: Die Hard (any of the series), Rocky Balboa, Hostage, Top Gun, The Last Samurai, Super Bad, Rambo, Knocked Up, Resdient Evil (any of the series)...or....The Notebook? Titanic? Just kidding...I know how guys feel about chick flicks and overly romantic movies. :)
Rent, I Now Pronounce you chuck & Larry, hilarious and very good movie, or an old movie, Big Daddy, its funny too.
anything with Nicolas Cage you'll be alright. Face/off(with John travolta) or Next if you want an action movie. City of Angels(romance) the list goes on

X-men 1/2/3 ; Elektra; 13 going on 30; Flight of the Pheonix; Daredevil; National treasure; Ghost rider; Nancy Drew; Music and lyrics.... (I could go on forever-I'm a huge movie fan :)) Hope you like at least one of them...

I liked Eastern Promises. It is intentionally cold and distant, so that might bother some viewers. It's worth a rental though, because even if you don't like it, at least you'll see one of the greatest fight scenes ever!
Alternative: shoot em up. Stupid action movie that knows it's a stupid action movie. Loved it.
Try renting the movie "The Lookout" with Jeff Daniels and the kid from "3rd Rock from the Sun" - Better movie than you think.
Also, Resident Evil: Extinction is great!
