A Most Interesting Question???!

Question: ...just sitting here, in my Gobots pajama sleepers, chomping on a bowl of Captain Crunch and beer, watching "Cannibal Ferox" for the umpteenth time, and it occurred to me to ask, does anyone know of any real good and tasty cannibal recipes, which I could try??? The Super Bowl is coming up, tomorrow, and I want to make sure that there are plenty of tasty eats, when company comes over...

...here's a delicious little concoction, which has always gotten fantastic raves at my get-togethers; you can be rest assured that this will not fail to satisfy...

Barbeque Baby Stew

This simple stew is great for a cold and wintery January, and it's EASY to make! Mexican and Asian babies are abundant and cheap, and this budget meal can be cooked in the slow cooker or on the stovetop. You can speed it up by using canned or frozen carrots. Betty Crocker magazine calls this, "A winner, and a recipe you'll use again and again."

Enjoy!

1 large can (28 ounces) barbeque beans
1/2 to 1 pound ground Mexican or Asian baby
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper (1 medium pepper)
1/2 cup matchstick carrots, or use frozen or canned
1 can (8 ounces) tomato sauce
1 cup water
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 can (approximately 14.5 ounces) tomatoes, diced
1 cup shredded cheese

Brown ground baby with onion and green bell pepper; combine with remaining ingredients in crockpot or slow cooker.

Cover and cook on low 6 to 9 hours. Serve with a sprinkling of grated cheese and cornbread or crackers.

Stovetop: Brown ground baby with onion and green bell pepper; combine ingredients in a stockpot or Dutch oven. Cover and simmer for 45 minutes to 1 hour.

Note: You can produce a ground baby with an ordinary cheese grater, as baby skin is soft, delicate, and tender. Cooking time can be shortened by using frozen or canned diced carrots.

Serves 4 to 6 adults.
