What are some different apocalyptic movies to watch?!
Question: I am Legend, The Core, Day After Tomorrow, definitely Clover field, The Day after (it's about a nuclear explosion, very cool), I am Omega (based on I am Legend, the book), The Stand, 28 Days Later, 28 Weeks Later, The Last Man on Earth, The Omega Man, Water world (bad movie, though),and The Postman.
EDIT: I thought of two more. Children of Men and A =Boy and His Dog. Both amazing!

Cloverfield if you want to see New York's apocalypse. I also just recently watched Category 7 (not in theaters) on DVD (kind of reminds me of The Day After Tomorrow and Twister combined though).
Well, one that is good and HILARIOUS is Dr. Strangelove. The Mist is descent, but has a great ending. I am Legend is great, with action. On the Beach is good, but depressing. I agree with above, Children of Men is great, one of the best movies ever
