Can Someone explain why Batman Begins is so good? (If you read comics don't !
Question: Hi I'm just trying to understand why does everyone seems to be obsessed about Movie Batman Begins?
I almost walked out during the 1st 30 seconds of it and it's weird because Batman was always my favourite franchise movie. And I never read any comics about Batman, just cartoon.
Oh and if you are one of those people who compare it with comics don't post please, I'm just trying to get opinion about the movie itself not how it compares with comics.

i agree with you batman begins sucks
Because it portrays Batman in the "real world" and not in the surreal world of Burton/Schumacher. Batman stands out and isn't just another strange character lost in the mix.

its just all around good,
acting, action, story, editing
its a real movie. not not like tim burtons cartoonish movies (though i liked those as well)
i think it's bad-a** cuz it has Qui-Gon Jinn in it (playing the same type of character, no less).
well the storyline in the review and the trailer was good. It shows why Bruce became batman and what started. I'm not sure how it's supposed to start.. or go compared to the comics.. so that was pretty good. Also... the actors.. in their other movies were good so that was another reason for why i watched it.
Batman begins was alright. Not too shabby

I think people like it so much because of it's intellectual apeal. It was made by a director who was not known for special effects (like burton or shumacher). Christopher Nolans movies anlayze reasons for someone's actions, and that is at the core of Batman, his purpose and his reason. Also because of the quality of the actors involved, Two academy award winners Michael Caine and Morgan Freeman, two academy award nominated actors Liam Neeson and Tom Wilkinson, critically aclaimed actors in Christain Bale, and Gary Oldman. This movie represents the new trend of action movies, that they be deeper and better acted.
