Question: Hi, Guys
In the movie 'Juno', when Juno explains what jocks like

"Girls with horn-rimmed glasses and vegan footwear
and Goth makeup. Girls who play the cello and read McSweeney's and want to be children's librarians when they grow up."

Could you guys explain for me,

Thanks

You put "footweat" two times. It's "footwear."

Vegan footwear is exactly that -- vegan footwear. Vegan people are like vegetarians, except they don't eat animal byproducts, like milk, cheese, and eggs. So vegan shoes would be shoes that do not have any animal-related soles, fabric, etc. Vans has a selection of vegan shoes:

I looked up "McSweeneys" on Wikipedia. It's some kind of publishing company. I guess they publish nerdy things or something?

I hope this helped! Oh BTW Juno was an awesome movie. :)

Vegan footwear is shoes that weren't made using ANYTHING from animals. And McSweeney's is a book author or something.

Vegan foot wear are shoes that don't use any animal products. Macbeth has a line of Vegan. And McSweeny's is a publishing company, so it probably mean that, girls that only read books published by them.

Vegan Footwear is shoes made with out any animal products, you can thing of it as very nature like.

McSweeney's is a publishing company, so girls who read alot, and read only the types of books published by them, which I would guess are maybe like the bell jar, and have a lyrical writting style.

McSweeney's is a published company that originated in San Francisco from Dave Eggers He wrote such books as
"What is the What" and "Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius".
You should try and look at a list of mcsweeney's books online or through there quarterly review published every month.
Hope this helpful.
