It's actually inspired from a Stephen King short story from the book Everything's Eventual.....

A little. 1408 really left me with an unsettling feeling. Plus I didn't understand the whole thing. Rose Red was better in my opinion.

this veeery true. didn't even notice that, old steven king got meh! lol but when you say that and think of it.... it subject is an narrow subject. there's a ghost hunter that is obsessed or other try'in prove something to him or to significate other.I think he should'nt have pick that subject but his thought was more qwisted and left field. Rose Red was borin as hell, it had similar paranormal activity that goes on in real life( like the lil girls telekinesis), and it was dragged on like the o.j. trial! similar but different in its own way like humans.
i don't know, 1408 is based on a short story by Stephen King, but i think it's not called Rose Red
