I've only watched 5, all my life
-Mary Poppins - I didn't like it
-The Sound Of Music - It was okay
-Singin' In The Rain - It's great, loved it!
-Guys & Dolls - It's great considering Marlon Brando isn't a singer.
-Phantom Of The Opera - A pretty good musical, I don't really like the story though...
-High School Musical 2 - UGH! I couldn't believe it. This is the third worst movie I've ever seen.

Not a fan of musicals

I absolutely can't pick a best out of these though I might asterisk some favorites. Let's just say that I love all of the ones I listed. I saw "Dreamgirls" recently, but that won't go on my list; I was so disappointed in it! Well, there are many others that are great.

I'm sure that I've forgotten quite a number of them. I must note that "1776" is one of my all-time favorite movies. I'm still amazed that someone could make the signing of the Declaration of Independence into a funny, touching and inspiring musical!

The Sound Of Music- good movie. I like it only because of its music and songs. WW2 time story. I always love those movies related to WW2.

Sing in the rain is my absolute favorite!!!

I also like Moulin Rouge because they used music from all over

and Phantom is good....just long

and Hairspray is really good (Elijah Kelly is SEXY!)

and Chicago is really really cool

- Singin' In the Rain. (5/5)
- The Phantom of the Opera. (4/5)
- Evita: Based on the life of Eva Peron, played by Madonna. A lower class girl who becomes the first lady of Argentina. (4/5)
- Chicago: Two people who wants to be famous dancers and will do anything to achieve. (4/5)
- Grease: Two teenagers falls in love over the summer, when the girl's leaving, they didn't think to meet again. Until they find each other enroll in the same school. (4/5)
- Moulin Rouge!: A man falls in love with a star courtesan in a night club, and starts an affair. (4/5)

Those are all the ones I'v seen and liked, I love musicals!

I'm not a great fan of musicals, I try to avoid them really. However, my favorite is The Sound of Music.
I was surprised that Sweeney Todd was actually a musical! I had no idea before it started but I enjoyed it.
