Someone please explain saw 4 to me.?!
Question: jigsaw didnt recruit anyone as far as we know... at least not until saw 5 or 6.. saw 4 is in fact running at the same time as saw 3, so at the begining when a detective says another doctor went missing from the hospital, they are referring to lynn from saw 3, at the end of the movie when we see strahm shoot jeff that is right after saw 3 just ended, so its the same basic style as forest gump was.... started at the end... but ended after.

its all happening at the same time as the third movie. the part in the very beginning with the autopsy actually takes place at the end of the movie.

Jigsaw recruited Hoffman but set him on his own test, so Hoffman thought he was behind Rigg's game but he was not. Much like Amanda, Hoffman needed to see if he could be trusted first. The beginning and the end were the same, since Rigg's game was played out during the events of Saw III. Jigsaw swallowed Hoffman's tape before he was killed because he knew Hoffman would be the detective at his autopsy.
