I love Martial Arts movies so things like Seven Samurai or Shogun Assassin (Japan) and Twin Warriors or Snake in the Eagles Shadow (China).

Amelie, brilliant zany off the wall French film
Pardon Mon Affair part 1 and 2, both French, was remade into Woman in Red and no where near as good
Cyrano De Bergerac with Gerard Depardieu, truly magnificent
Cinema Paradiso
Ran, Akira Kurosawa
7th Samurai
La Belle et La Bete, ( Beauty and the Beast), French, special effects incredible. Made in 1930's i think.

seen many more, but remember them all.

Most of the stuff by studio Ghibli

But I agree with that Pan's Labyrinth easily one of the best foreign flicks I've seen
