I DON'T care about special effects and cgi, it's stories that we're comparing here, cuz good cgi and a bad story doesn't make a film good

I think old films are way better and im only 19, they had plots, discreet marketing, they weren't racist, didn't have dumb jokes like now, better actors. New films have pointless action and no continuity, just setpiece after setpiece and too muchy marketing

I'm not going to say old makes good, but you are right, in older films they paid more attention to story and character development. Even older, black and white movies can still pack a punch without any of the modern techniques. Movies need to make us care about what happens in the movie rather than just blow things up.
